Fall 2009- Boulder

One of our favorite retreats every year is to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Brems in Boulder, Utah. I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I've spent with my grandparents. They are such amazing, special people and I am grateful to have such wonderful examples to pattern my life after. I will keep close to my heart all of our fun adventures, late night talks, games of Rummy-O, and delicious meals cooked by grandma. Other than my own mom, my grandma is the best cook I've ever know, and anyone that visits will leave with a guarantee of being five pounds up on their scale! How can anyone turn away fresh baked bread or rolls for EVERY meal? Or homemade ice cream with HOMEMADE caramel?? Mmm! Taylor especially loves Boulder for the outdoors and you will find her playing in the stream, swinging on the playground (one of the many projects constructed by my grandparents), taking nature hikes with Grandma, fishing, or running around on the grass. Here's a few pictures from our trip last fall... (I'm still trying to get caught up on this blogging, but it's not working out too well!)

I love the pictures Amy. My favorite is the one with Justyn and Taylor holding hands walking in the stream.

How funny I just did my post on Boulder tonight. I love the picture of G&G. So darling! The one with justin and Taylor walking is also precious! I would kill for Grandma's cooking right now. Not so much the 5 pounds that it brings on though!
