Deer Valley

We spent the weekend up at Stein Erikson for Justyn's 37th birthday. The scenery was beautiful, the food was to die for, and the room(equipped with a hot tub on the balcony) was unbelievable. Best of all, I couldn't have been with better company. Happy Birthday babe! Our view

What a lovely forced smile... She will never smile normal for me when I take her pic.

Can you guess who ate 2 1/2 chocolates in the middle of the night? And no, it wasn't me! (Even though I would have enjoyed it very much)

The culprit... "It wasn't me Mom"

Almost there...

Thirty days out and it's about time! Any longer and you'll find me locked up at the mental institution. Here's a few pics of our house in progress-

What a zoo at the Hogle Zoo...

What happens when you combine five wild (and tired) children on a VERY hot day, all of which want to see every animal, eat every snack possible, and buy every toy in the gift shop? Two EXTREMELY tired and irritable mom's, ready to drop their children off at the monkey's cage and head to the spa for a massage and pedicure. Seriously though, we had a fun time despite the drama (mostly from my daughter...surprise, surprise). Thanks for joining us Amber and kids.

Pretty lucky for a three year old

This is what happens when my fabulous esthetician/sister watches Taylor while I am at work. Thanks Aunt Jenn! You are the best. We appreciate you so much.

Taylor's first dance class

Taylor recently started her pre-ballet and tap class and she absolutely loves it. I have to laugh when I watch these little girls in tutu's trying to follow their teachers' lead. It's so cute. And although Taylor is the tallest and the youngest in her class (still three in these pics), she does pretty well. Learning to listen to her teacher is the obstacle to overcome. I somehow wish there was a way to keep Taylor this age forever. Skip that whole teenage thing, ya know?

Going private

After talking to my sister Christy, I may go private with my blog in the next couple of weeks. I don't want everyone out there in cyber-land having access to my life and photos. If you want continued access to this amazing blog (and I say that with total sarcasm), please leave me a comment with your e-mail address. Thanks.

Summer 2008, part four

The project for this summer...

Lots of fun. Lots of stress. Ready to be done.

Pioneer Day in Park City
Tay loved the Alpine slide and coaster, so we ventured up to PC again for the 24th. Christy and Rommel joined us this time. Later that night, we went to Quynn and Ivy's house for a pool party and outdoor movie.
